Weekend Adoption Day
Six or seven fosters, pens on the lot and applications reviewed on the spot.
Events
Adoption days every weekend, a pop-up clinic most months, and a couple of loud fundraisers a year. Everything below is free to attend unless we say otherwise.
Next big one
Our biggest adoption day of the year: a dozen fosters, a nail-trim table, a very competitive costume parade and enough volunteers that nobody waits in line. Bring the whole household, including the resident dog, and we will handle introductions on neutral ground.
On the calendar
Six or seven fosters, pens on the lot and applications reviewed on the spot.
Low-cost vaccines and microchips with partner veterinarians. First come, first served.
Free kibble, litter and leashes. No paperwork, no questions, no judgement.
A neighborhood taproom donates the evening; we bring raffle baskets and one very well-behaved ambassador dog.
Our travelling table, plus whichever fosters can make the drive north.
The weekly rhythm
Host us
Businesses, apartment buildings and schools host our pop-up tables all year. We bring the pens, the paperwork and two very photogenic dogs; you bring the foot traffic and somewhere to plug in a kettle.
About twenty feet of shade or floor, access to water, and two hours either side for setup. That is genuinely the whole list.
